Seasonal Sungold Zinger is only available during the peak season of Sungold tomatoes and has been featured every summer @ Range for the past 7 years! Neato. This lovely drink is comprised of Distillery 209 Gin + fresh lemon juice + agave syrup + sungold tomatoes + pinch of salt, garnished with a cute tomato on the rim. It's tart/sweet, savory/salty, smooth & earthy. I love it and I look forward to having another next year :) Range is known for their handcrafted cocktails, so if you missed out on the seasonality of this drink, you have plenty of delicious options to choose from.

SEASONAL SUNGOLD ZINGER (via 7x7)
1 1/2 ounces Distillery 209 gin
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce agave syrup (one part agave nectar dissolved in one part water)
3-5 Sungold tomatoes
Pinch of kosher salt
1. Muddle the tomatoes with the salt and lemon juice.
2. Combine with gin and agave in a shaker, then shake vigorously with ice.
3. Double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a sungold tomato on the rim.
