Touch of Grey, the only non-alcholic drink to make the cut on
The Big Drink list, and rightfully so. This is one of the most unique tasting drinks ever =
candy cap mushroom syrup, acid phosphate, cream, & soda.
Acid phosphate imparts a drying quality to Phosphates (an efferevescent soft drink containing phosphirc acid, soda water and flavoring.) It's light, slightly frothy & fizzy, dry, sort of maple-y/earthy/spearminty from the sweet candy cap musrhoom syrup. It definitely wins for being the most unusual & interesting drink on this list. And
Cole Valley Ice Cream Bar wins for being the most heavenly place in the universe > their ice creams, floats, shakes, phosphates, pies, eats, EVERYTHING is absolutely mouth-watering decadent and over the top delicious. If I lived in neighborhood I'm pretty sure I would eat every meal here and would be pleasantly plump. Go!!!!!
