Hobson's Choice Bar is the Haight is a lively Victorian punch house that boosts that largest rum collection of rums in the country! Yowza. The House Punch (which is only $3/glass during Happy Hour!) is their signature blend of orange/mango punch made with silver rum, mango, orange & pineapple juices. It tastes like the tastiest, tropical-iest, juiciest juice drink ever. It was the trifecta of juices - mango (!), orange (!!) & pineapple (!!!). Yewwwwww! I was loving this punch. Who wants to go back to split a bowl?! P.S. Did you know that a Hobson's Choice is a choice of taking what is available or nothing at all. The term is named after Thomas Hobson, a livery stable owner in Cambridge, England, who gave the customer the “choice” of the horse nearest the door or none at all. Haaaaa, oh mister Hobson, you are a curious one.
