Recession Special = shot of whiskey & beer for 4 bucks. Done. Vesuvio's is one of my favorite bars in the City because it was freqeunted by beat poets & it's oozing with San Francisco history. Annnnd because the Recession Special is only $4, hell yeah. I took my Finnish friend Mirva here and we sat on the second floor, if you can swipe the booth in the top left , do it, it's the best seat in the house!
