(26) Manhattan @ Lone Palm

Friday, December 7, 2012

A classic Manhattan is made with whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters & a Maraschino cherry. It's a stiff drink and at the Lone Palm they make 'em exx(X)tra strong. The Lone Palm is a very special place, it's a total dive bar - but it has white table cloths on all the tables. They play awesome hip music - but low enough so you can still hear & engage in conversations. It's trimmed in neon pink/blue lighting which gives off an Art Deco vibe - but it feels very welcoming. It's a very strange juxtaposition, but it works and I love it!!!!! It's a great place for catching up with friends or a date night. Go!
P.S. This photo isn't in focus because I was too busy having a good time :)
